Theatresports(TM) is a wild and unpredictable improv competition between two teams of quick-witted actors who challenge each other to create scenes on the spot, all based on audience suggestions - and many with audience members actually on stage. The very vocal audience voting determines which team was superior and, at the end of the match, a grand champion proudly walks away with all the improv laurels.
Freestyle Rep has been bringing this outstanding show to madly enthusiastic audiences in the tri-state area schools since 1988. Now, for the first time, the general public can see what has 50,000 school kids a year so excited.
The Gallery Players , Brooklyn's premier Off-Off Broadway theatre, marked its 40th season in 2006-2007.
